About Us

At The Willows Pottery, we make decorative and functional stoneware pottery. We offer a variety of pottery including dinnerware sets, serving pieces, accessories, and custom vessel sinks. In our gallery at Sweetwater Coffeehouse, you will also find jewelry, baskets, wood working, luminaries, and soaps created by other local artisans and crafts people.

Betsy Ledbetter

Betsy is originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina. She attended The College of Charleston and obtained a degree in Arts Management and Business. While in Charleston, Betsy enrolled in a pottery class at The Gibbes Museum of Art and found a new love. Mrs. Jessie Meaders, a longtime family friend and well known folk potter in North Georgia, encouraged Betsy to pursue pottery making. Betsy spent countless hours working with Jessie, and patiently honed her skills. Betsy began working at The Willows in the summer of 2003.
